Electronic Music Palma: The Town: Boiler Format
Sótano Club

Description
Sótano Club brings back The Town on Friday, 2 October, with Romo, Nasri and P. Calvo taking over the booth for another Boiler Format session. Running from 23:30 until 06:00, the night puts the DJs at the centre of the dance floor for an intimate edition of Electronic Music Palma.
The Town is one of Sótano Club’s recurring electronic formats, with previous editions built around a close-up Boiler-style setup rather than a conventional elevated DJ booth. Earlier sessions have also incorporated vinyl-focused sets, keeping the emphasis on DJ selection and the connection between the booth and the dance floor.
For the 2 October edition, the lineup features Romo, Nasri and P. Calvo. The three DJs share the full night, with the poster presenting the event simply around the artists and its Boiler Format rather than announcing a headline act. This keeps the focus on the collective session and the progression of the music across the night.
Sótano Club has established itself as one of the smaller underground spaces for Electronic Music Palma, with a programme that regularly moves through house, minimal, progressive and tech house. Its basement location beneath Plaça Gomila creates a noticeably different setting from Mallorca’s larger clubs, with the dance floor concentrated directly around the DJ area.
The Town sits comfortably within the growing selection of Music Events Mallorca centred on smaller venues and local DJ culture. Located in Gomila at the edge of El Terreno, Sótano occupies a space with a long nightlife history: before its current incarnation, the basement was home to venues including La Metro and the long-running Tunnel Rock Club.
