Teatre Principal de Palma presents La mujer rota, a powerful dramatic monologue adapted from the work of French philosopher Simone de Beauvoir and performed by acclaimed actor Anabel Alonso.

Set on New Year’s Eve, the story centres on Murielle, a woman alone in her home, whose night unfolds under the weight of memory, silence and internal conflict. As the sounds of celebration outside contrast with her isolation, the piece examines the emotional landscape of loss, identity and resilience. The focus on a single character and the intensity of the narrative offer a deep, introspective experience that engages with themes of selfhood, societal roles and existential reflection in contemporary theatre.
