Trui Teatre in Palma hosts flamenco singer Israel Fernández with his latest stage production De Oro y Marfil, one of the most ambitious projects of his career. The performance explores the artist’s distinctive approach to flamenco singing, combining original compositions with reinterpretations of classic pieces presented through a contemporary musical and theatrical format.
The show places the piano at the centre of the performance, supported by strings, choir arrangements and Fernández’s regular flamenco musicians. The result is a dynamic concert moving between intimate melodic moments and more intense, dramatic passages, reflecting the emotional range that characterises the work of the Toledo-born cantaor.
